The Bergen Battery, Heavy Field Artillery, was mustered in at Englewood yesterday afternoon by Major Jacob B. Buist, with 126 men.

The following officers were elected: Captain, Charles W. Frits,
Senior First Lieutenant, Herbert E. Marsh, of East Orange; Junior First Lieutenant, Charles C. Campbell, of Englewood;
Senior Second Lieutenant, Alex T. Hayes, Englewood; Junior Second Lieutenant, Jesse Henrickson of Wenonah.

The Hackensack members of the Battery include:
Ray S. Brower, 171 James St.
Fred Peterson, 159 Central Ave.
Geo. F. Cummings, 19 Bridge St.
J.E. Dederick, 115 Passaic St.
Daniel A. Dillon, 77 Sussex St.
Ralph E. Kirk, 163 James St.
M.J. McGarr, 152 Union St.
Eddie Vreeland, 88 Sussex St.
R.C. Stranbe, 6 Spring Valley Ave.
Frank J. Van Wetering, 231 River St.
S. While, 77 Sussex St.

Frank Fielding, Edward Anderson and Oscar Anderson are the Bogota members and Tunts Van Wyck is from Arcola.

The Battery Expects to leave for Sea Girt next week, where it will be (word unreadable) and equipped.

This Battery was organized at the suggestion of Gov. Edge, and the membership is composed mostly of
Bergen County men.
