Drinkwater Dies in France From Disease December 2, 1918 Private John J. Drinkwater, of 89 Fair Street, a brother of “Al” Drinkwater, who drives for Joseph F. O'Shea, is mentioned in today's casualty list as having died of disease in France. John was a draft man and was sent by the local Draft Board to Camp Wadsworth, Spartanburg, N.C., on August 7.
