HACKENSACK BOY IS WOUNDED

Frank C. Brough, With Marines, Reported Wounded in Action July 15.

Frank C. Brough, a son of Dr. and Mrs. Frank T. Brough, of Court Street, was wounded in France on July 15, according to a telegram received by his parents this morning.

Frank joined the Marines and little time was lost in going "over there". Only a short time ago word came that his "bunkie" was killed in action while going "over the top."

Frank is a Hackensack High School boy and a graduate of Amherst College. He was a physical director in a Massachusetts college when he enlisted. He was rejected serveral times because of his fallen arch in his foot, but the government soon ruled against this trivial matter and the young man was soon in uniform.

Private Brough was a member of the C. M. S. baseball team, and was a noted swimmer.
