Hackensack Heroes

John J. Drinkwater of 89 Fair Street Hackensack died of ‘disease' according to the article. What that means exactly, I do not know. It could mean the flu or infection or well, who knows? What we do know is John J. Drinkwater's name appears on the plaques in the library and at the cemetery. He was 29 years old when he died leaving behind a wife and a child of three years old.
