Hugo Boise was born on September 17, 1894. He was admitted to Fairmount school at age 14 on
September 9, 1908. Hugo Boise at this age would have been in the 8th or 9th grade in Fairmount School. We have no record of whether he attended Hackensack schools before or whether he graduated Hackensack High School. Hugo Boise would have been around 23 or 24 years old upon entering the service.
